This new year’s eve is going to be truly different for me. I may have felt this way on every New Year’s eve but tonight I am feeling connected to my witchy wisdom in a different kind of way.
One of the most beautiful aspects of being a dark witch is that you fall in love with your flaws. Self love isnt about loving yourself when you have got it all figured out. Its about loving that confused you, that angry you, that irritated you, that guilty you, that annoyed you, that you who procastinates, that you who misses out on her workouts, who cheats on her diet, its about loving that you who very often falls off the wagon.
I am going to make so many new year resolutions. And I know that I wont be able to keep up with all of them, but thats okay too. So here I am going to share with you a list of my witchy new year resolutions and I know that you might find them a bit weird and funny, but thats okay too.
1– To buy lots of witchy jwellery.
This one has been on my list for quite sometime now. I would love to wear moon earrings and unicorn necklaces. Witchy bangles would be great too!
2- To prepare delicious vegetable stew on m days off from work.
Its been a year since I cooked vegetable stew. I so love it!
3- To dress up as Erin does.
Erin owns her own youtube channel by the name “Goodnight Moon ASMR” She is so beautiful. I truly adore all her looks, especially her looks with braided hair.
4- To massage oil onto my scalp twice a week
This keeps my hair nourished and moisturised.
5- To watch more fanmade videos of my favourite celebrity couple
Watching them together fills my heart with so much joy.
6- To buy my first oracle deck
Yes, I shall buy it very soon.
7- To start a regular visualisation practice
I find it really hard to visualise my dreams and desires. I am working on creating a visualisation practice that works for me.
8- To buy a good fiction book to read
I have been reading a lot of books on Goddesses and self care but I also love fiction so much. I am currently reading one of the novels by Agatha Christie. I recently read “A Hygge Holiday” by Rosie Blake. Now I need suggestions for another good winter read. Please do mention them in the comments below.
9- To believe more
I know that this as a new year resolution seems pretty strange but I want to believe more in my dreams, believe more in love, believe more in what my heart says. I want to believe in the whispers of angels, the chattering of fairies, the guidance by Goddesses, the divinity of dragons and in my own inner witch.
You know, all these new year resolutions make me feel relaxed and not stressed. Yes, I do have bigger goals. But lets begin this new year with something simple, something lovable.
I dont want to reflect on last year. I have done enough journalling for this week. I just want to celdbrate this new year’s eve by relaxing and doing the little things I love. So Goodnight my beloved brothers and sisters. A very happy witchy new year to you all.
