“Your soul has always known you could accomplish anything if it brought you joy.” Colette Baron-Reid(Oracle message)
As I was cooking rice today on the stove, I discovered an excellent lesson yet again. I am always looking for guidance in the little things in life. So, as I put the water to boil I noticed how the hot steam rose from the pot of water only to dissipate into the surrounding atmosphere. How very interesting! The steam which can burn your flesh if you get close enough is now lost into the cool air surrounding it. Wow!
The same happens when we are radiating fumes of anger, worry, stress and helplessness from within. These energies have the power to burn down our entire human experience but once they are allowed to dissolve into the ocean of love, they cause no harm. This ocean of love lies within us. The divine resides within us. All we need to do is to surrender all our troubles and choose love no matter what.
We may feel trapped in an extremely distressing situation. We may feel lost and helpless. There comes a time when almost everyone around us fails to understand us. They all see things in terms of loss and gain but dont understand our pain. Its really hard to trust the divine in these circumstances. But the ultimate truth is that you have no other choice.
You can either go on crying and cursing your fate feeling hopeless that any good will ever come your way or you can surrender to the power of love within you and let it guide you step by step out of this misery.
Sometimes when we witness a storm in our lives, we feel afraid that its going to create great havoc. But a storm serves a greater purpose. It disperses the seeds, enriches the soil and paves the way for a beautiful moonlit night. But to see the moon, we first have to believe and face the storm.
We cannot face the storm if we are resistant to the divine will. In order to face and embrace the mess we are in, we must learn to listen to the whispering voice within us and believe that even if nothing feels good at the moment, its all happening for our highest good.
