Its only when you dare to hope for the impossible, you dare to reach for the impossible and in doing so, the universe aids you in making it possible.
We all love easy stuff, dont we? Well, there isnt any harm in it. Taking things easy and not being too hard on yourself is a great art of self-love and self-care. Trusting the flow and going with it, surrendering to divine will and giving up the fight does make life more beautiful.
Yet there is one thing that isnt quite easy for us. We have a really hard time cultivating this practice. I am talking about HOPING FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE. Yes, thats right. This isnt easy for most of us. Hoping that it will rain the next day is easy. But hoping that it shall snow anytime soon is hard. Hoping that you shall clear the exam is easy, but hoping that you will secure excellent marks is hard.
The moment you stop yourself from hoping for the impossible, you send a signal to the angels which says,” I dont deserve it. I dont want it.” This is ridiculous. Each one of you deserves to be living the life of your dreams. Then why diminish our hopes?
So, there is a really famous proverb which says “Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.” With all due respect for its creator, I disagree. You cannot hope for the best if your mind is full of thoughts of your worst fears coming true. Why not change this to something simpler like,” Give it your best and hope for the best.” How can one possibly hope for the best when he/she is busy making plans for what they shall do if it all goes wrong? Its as if you are challenging the universe by doubting its support.
Now, some of you might say that things dont always go as we plan. Then whats the harm in keeping a rescue plan ready? I agree. Things seldom happen the way we plan. Sometimes, everything just falls apart in an instant.
There is a beautiful saying which says,” when everything starts falling apart, its actually falling into place.” So if in case, the worst happens, its good for you. Yes, you can prepare for it by having faith that God will help you face it, but there is absolutely no need for you to direct all your thoughts towards it.
Speaking of hoping for the impossible, I strongly support the idea. When you choose to hope for the impossible, you arent denying the reality. You are not running from it or refusing to look at it. You are practicing what Marianne Williamson calls “positive denial” which means that you do not deny the darkness, what you deny is its power over you.
I was just listening to an audiobook by Dr. Wayne Dyer where he says,” With God anything is possible. Now you tell me, what does that leave out?” Beautiful, isnt it? You, my love, deserve the best. Then why fear hoping for it. Hope is the gateway to miracles. Every act of service infused with love and hope is bound to attract miracles. May God bless you.
