In this post I am going to discuss about blankets and how using an improper one can affect our sleep and comfort.
SOFTNESS AND MATERIAL
So this comes in as the very first point in my list. The softness of the blankets we use determine our comfort which in turn helps in reducing irritation. Blankets which are rough, have too thick embroidery or are highly starched do not make us feel relaxed and calm. Its best to purchase plain cotton or soft linen bedsheets preferably with no embroidery on them.
Its mostly upto you to choose but blankets with too much design on them prevents the transmission of light through them which might block out the healing energies of moonlight. This is just my personal experience. I remember using blankets with designs on them and feeling a little low due to that. If you still love designs then its best to choose a blanket with a very light backgroud and just a little bit of design on it.
For summers, light shades are really soothing to the eyes. Colours like baby pink, peach, sea green, sea blue, light purple are perfect for blankets to be used in summers. These colours help to pacify us. Darker colours absorb more heat and bright colours can really irritate us. Switch to lighter shades and see if it feels more peaceful and lovable.
