MOTHER’S DAY SPECIAL( Serving mother earth)

The Goddess created the forests. She decorated the trees with leaves and adorned the bushes with flowers. She made the rivers flow and she made the soil fertile. She created the sun and the moon, the planets and also the galaxies. She created the big beautiful trees and she even created the small ones.

She anchored the roots of the trees firmly to her heart. The trees only trust this connection to survive. They survive storms and wind strokes only due to this connection.

We too have been gifted with this connection. But we seem to have forgotten all about it. Our roots are anchored to her heart and no force in this world can severe that connection.

Here, I would like to share my personal experiences related to beliefs and practices which enable me to strengthen this connection.

One of the most powerful and simple practices to dwell in this beautiful connection. This includes walking barefeet or sitting upright with your feet touching the ground and imaginingclose-up-cream-creamy-357586 beautiful roots growing from the bottom of your feet to the centre of the earth. Receive love through this connection and release all fear into it.

This can be done by caring for our mother just as she cares for us. For instance, if one is fond of growing roses in their garden then instead of chemical fertlisers substances like banana peels, seaweeds and grounded coffee beans can be used. There are also practices where the menstrual blood is collected through menstrual cups and offered to the earth which helps to enrich the soil.
