Service, dharma, money and job

SERVICE is a really powerful practice. Its not about others, its about you. The will to serve is being connected to love and in that connection, all our fears are washed away.

“Dharma” is your soul’s calling to serve love and serve God. You can do that by being a doctor , a lawyer, an artist, a movie maker, a designer and so on. Dharma is about listening to God’s will which is always for the highest good of all. You never lose anything by trusting the divine will, rather you gain peace and prosperity.

When you listen to your soul’s calling, you must not ignore it for the fear of money. You must do your “karma” according to his will. His will is not a dictation of any kind, his will is your will which you have forgotten.

When you do your karma with a will to serve, you do it with love and grace. You cannot do anything with love. For instance I quit my job because I wasnt able to work with love. I then followed my soul’s calling.

The renowned author Rebecca Campbell says,” Your soul is always calling.” Yes, thats true. We are always being called to follow our dharma and thats includes service as its essential practice. Artists serve through their creations, doctors serve through their work, lawyers serve by being honest, gardeners serve by beautifying our homes and labourers serve by building the  homes where we live.

There is a misconception that service is something that takes us away from the joys of the world. Service is what reminds acorn-advent-blur-278508you of who you are and brings you closer to eternal bliss. When we serve with love, we let go of all fears of money and shame, we let go of doubts and insecurities and in that state we are one with our creator.
