PRINCIPLE 1- Observe with grace
Before you start to bring about some changes, take one day and closely observe how you spend it. Now please dont infuse negativity into your day by heavily criticising your actions. Observe your actions with grace because you are one of a kind and so is your life.
PRINCIPLE 2- Choose something you cannot miss.
Be it your favourire TV show or your favourite novel or the evening walk you love. Select something which you never miss. Observe it closely. How does it make you feel? Do you really enjoy that time or you just want something to do to spend your time? Now, if you really do enjoy it, then go for it without feeling guilty about it.
PRINCIPLE 3- Do your drems really help you to glow?
Now, I want you to be really honest with yourself. Do you have goals which are leading you to light or are you just chasing something without even getting in touch with your soul. You can find this out if you feel a constant lack of motivation and driving force to get working or you feel frustrated and grumpy every morning or you feel that if money was not an issue you surely wouldnt be doing this. You cannot live a life filled with light if you are filled with darkness from within. You always glow thr inside out.
PRINCIPLE 4- Be willing to create some ME time
If you live with your family or you have kids to look after, then its extremely essential that you take out some time for quite work. You can choose early mornings or maybe the time after your kids go to bed or even the afternoon hours when everyone else is taking a nap.
PRINCIPLE 5- Discipline includes having fun.
As much as its essential to live a disciplined life, its also important to have fun. You cannot be disciplined till you are having fun. Discipline is not some kind of punishment. Discipline means to be very clear of the fact that what you are doing brings you peace and freedom. Being addicted to social media is not having fun while spending some time to converse with your friends through this medium is enjoyable. Having fun means to stop at a point beyond which its no longer enjoyable. Know when you have had enough. And you can do this by simply being mindful in every moment of the way it makes you feel.
PRINCIPLE 6- Its your day ,so spend it your way.
Dont overburden yourself with thoughts like,”I want to be productive” the whole time. Do things that are important for you and if you are unable to do them, think once again. Are they really important? And if they really are, then do more of what makes your soul sparkle and you will start focussing on the right stuff.
