A Course in waterfalls Chap 6- I love being surprised

I felt so low as if all my energy had been sucked out of me. It felt as if I was just not enthusiastic about anything. Feeling all low, I settled into her loving embrace once again.

She looked at me with a smile and her rushing waters flowed through my aching heart.

“Now you see,” she said,” when you choose to dim your light, this is how you feel. Focussing too much on what lies in the way is toxic for the flow. I never think of the boulders or anything else. My waters are always rushing and gushing. Why dont you just ease into the flow and let it find its own way?”

Her words filled me with grace but my worries still remained. I could see my plans failing miserably and everything falling apart.

“It would be a joke,” she said,” if my waters would flow according to a map. That would take away all the fun. And you know, I always love being surprised. Dont you?”
